Grampy's Villages started with one very large, 7,000 piece, Department 56 collection. When we began the process of selling it down, we were overwhelmed; we didn't know what pieces were worth, who would buy them, or where to list them. We knew how much Grampy loved his collection, so we also knew that we wanted to get his collection into the hands of people who would appreciate them like he did.
After sharing his collection with family and successfully selling down 1,000s of pieces to fellow collectors, we want to help others do the same. Our goal is to get your collection back into the hands of people who love them, and of course, get you PAID!

How can we help?
We sell for you (consignment)
This option is perfect if you are not in a rush to sell and you want to maximize your return. Our consignment program takes all of the stress off of you and gives you regular payouts while we do all the work. Here's how it works:
- We take your collection and inventory, appraise, and list it for sale.
- We provide a shared document so you can track your sales in real time.
- We sell and ship your collection piece-by-piece.
- You receive a regular payouts for the profits (minus our selling commission).
You sell to us (with inventory list)
This option is great if you are organized and want a quick payout! Here's how it works:
- You send us your inventory list. We will ask you to note any damage, missing boxes, or defects. For these items, we may ask for photos.
- We will appraise your collection and make you an offer to buy it outright.
- We will work with you to organize pickup, delivery, or drop off.
- Once we receive the collection, we will inspect it and make a final payment in full.
You sell to us (in bulk)
This is the easiest option and is best if you are trying to sell quick. Here's how it works:
- We pay you a flat rate for each building and accessory.
- We will work with you to organize pickup, delivery, or drop off.
- Once we receive the collection, we make a final payment in full.
